Affordable Suites Shelby

I visited Shelby North Carolina for the ALWS from Texas. That being said hotel rooms Were a few and far between. I was able to book my two nights stay here. upon arrival I met Denise. She was kind and she was apologetic when things were not satisfactory. Very sweet woman. Let’s be honest you really do get what you paid for so I was not surprised at what I had walked into, but sometimes Good customer service, honesty and transparency make up for those things. I had a pleasant stay, no complaints. There were some cleanliness issues but nothing that bothered me. The location was perfect and only a six minute drive to Shelby high school. I told Denise I’d be back to visit.

Ms. Denise's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident from the moment I arrived. She anticipated my needs and proactively ensured that every aspect of my stay was nothing short of perfect. Whether it was providing extra amenities in my room or offering personalized recommendations for dining and entertainment, her attention to detail and genuine care exceeded my expectations. I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my entire stay thanks to Ms. Denise's exceptional service.

OK-first off let me get this out of the way. This is a no frills place to stay. You’re not going to have soap, coffee, paper towels, etc. in the room. What they do offer is a clean, safe, and inexpensive place to stay. The manager is very helpful, friendly and kind to the guests. She went out of her way to be available to check me in after closing, orient me to the hotel and surrounding area. There are laundry machines available, a small kitchen in the room, and it’s quiet and comfortable. If I’m in the area again next year, I’ll stay there again.

Must stay at the affordable suites was very pleasant Miss Denise that works in the front office and Miss Charlotte. I believe that’s her name one of the housekeepers. They were very, very kind very sweet very professional everybody there treated me well and I was really sad I had to leave because I just couldn’t afford it anymore. Thank you for my stay ladies.

Very, Very, Very Clean, not 1 pieces of hair in bathroom, countertops spotless, furniture spotless, and carpet. I was very well pleased and will definitely be back. The Lobby had a delightful clean fragrance and the lady who checked me in was extremely kind.

We have stayed here multiple times now, and never a single issue. Denise runs a tight ship, the rooms are clean and well furnished/equipped, it's quiet, and she's always around for questions. The suites are huge compared to most, clean laundry facilities, and it's nearby to everything you'd need. We've stayed previously at more expensive places nearby, won't make that mistake again. If you're in Shelby, book with Denise, you'll be glad you did!

Our stay at the Affordable Suites to attend the ALWS was so pleasant! Denise communicated with me in advance of our stay and accommodated our late arrival. She is a sweet and kind lady who will do everything in her power to make your stay better. I felt as if I already knew her. The rooms are large and spacious, like an apartment. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff are nice too. I have nothing bad to say about the place! It literally checks all the blocks from location to cleanliness to kindness! Without question, my wife and I will be returning in the future. Denise and Affordable Suites made us feel at home and like valued guests, and that is priceless.

I just finished a contract as a travel nurse in Shelby and stayed at Affordable Suites. Denise (the property manager) is so nice and made me feel like family. Sonia (the housekeeper) was very nice and always worked with me for the weekly cleaning since I work night shift. It is quiet and a safe area. I could hear some of my neighbors on my nights off, but it wasn't bad at all. I never had any issues during my 3 month stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel and if I come back to Shelby, I will definitely be staying.
